Every few years the Tall Ships pass through Sturgeon Bay and we offer a special tour to see them. This unique boat tour will bring you to Sherwood Point Lighthouse and then to watch the tall ship sailboats enter Sturgeon Bay. Seven tall ships will be coming up from Green Bay and spend the night in Sturgeon Bay before heading out into Lake Michigan.
See the seven tall ship sailboats enter Sturgeon Bay including the Picton Castle, the brig Niagara, Inland Seas, Appledore IV, Bluenose II, the Pride of Baltimore II, and Door County’s very own Utopia which was built at Peterson Builders in 1947.
The tour will also cruise by the Sherwood Point Lighthouse and offer great views of a lighthouse that is normally closed to the public.
Tours depart from the George K Pinney County Park (4879 Bay Shore Dr, Sturgeon Bay, WI 54235) at 3:30pm and 5:30pm.
